Re: Gas Engine ?
There's a place called Tulsa Engine Warehouse on the web. I got an 18hp Briggs for $800 on sale. You might want to try them.

Re: Gas Engine ?
That was brand new, not refurb'd. I thought it was a good price. It was for a John Deere I rebuilt.

Re: Gas Engine ?
Just picked up a new 6.5 HP from harbor freight for $128.00 has a 2 year warranty.
Just going to have to play with gear ratios to get the speed I want. This is a budget build if I had the money I would have gotten a bigger motor but I have more important bills to pay! |

Re: Gas Engine ?
Mounted the engine and mounted a go cart sproket hub on the rear end so I can change out the sprokets easily.
Next is a clutch,a couple different size sprokets, chain and throttle cable. Throttle cable will be a bit tricky. I will post pics later |

Re: Gas Engine ?
Had the cart running today. Have to reinstall engine mount didn't line up correctly chain popped off. Going to relocate mount tomorrow. I gave it some gas and it seems to have plenty of power. Can't wait to open it up. Will post a video.
