Rear Strut replacement for 80 inch roof
I have an EZGO PDS that has a broken passenger rear roof strut that I need to replace. I have already ordered 1 model that was too tall and did not fit the existing supports. basically this model strut runs parallel to the roof, then down, right angle to the rear seat support and then down. I need it in black. Does anyone have any idea where I may order this? Do I need to measure the driver side to provide exact measurements of the strut to properly match the size?

Don't think so, it is buggered pretty bad. I will take a picture of the broken one at lunch and then post.

It may be a custom one made for your rear seat. EZ-Go uses 75074
|

kgsc, I am not sure custom or not. It makes a right angle turn to the rear seat mount. so I don't think it is the normal rear strut. problem I have with removing both the rear struts and putting the ezgos I have seen is it makes the roof so much higher. This height prevents me from driving into the garage since the roof then hits the door.

Club car strut huh. Hey, if it works. Maybe you could post something over in the CC listings and get someone to measure their support strut

I would weld it with some reinforcement at the break. Just make sure it will not interfere with the mounting bracket.
