2005 EZ GO random braking with walk away beeper sound
I have a 2005 EZ GO Electric cart. Within the last 2 weeks my cart will ramdomly auto brake as if you are going to fast down hill, but this will occur while on flat and level grade, or while pushing on the gas pedal with no grade. When this happends the auto braking will apply and if I hit the brakes or gas it seems to disengage the auto braking. This occured slowly about 2 weeks ago, i noticed that it seemed to be braking early and then has progressive gotten worse. Then yesterday it acted normal for most of the day. Do I have a short somewhere? Any help would be appreciated, Thank You

Assuming a PDS cart, count the beeps and see if the controller is throwing a code.
You can also put the cart into diagnostic mode then drive it. When the random act occurs, count the beeps as that is the code the controller is throwing at that time. |
