robin 350 cc engine

can you use a robin 295 crank in a 350cc. built new motor engine in time. cam and crank timing off spewing gas in air box. how much stroke differance. crank was replaced. if the sent 295 crank would that cause timing of cam and crank off piston does come to tdc top of block. thanks for any help

I don't remember the stroke difference, but the 295 crank is not enough stroke to top out the pistons. Cam timing should not be effected by the shorter crank. Pistons not coming to top of the deck will make the compression to low for the engine to run correctly.
