fltekdiver, I'm curious to know if you isolated just where the squeak was coming from. I've got to do the same thing on my '06.

It was coming from the spings , where the one is arched, and the other was flat. When they moved up and down, and compressed, they sqeeked. I did both of them, but found out only one was doing it. Hope this helps

If that's the case, get that plastic shelf liner stuff and put it between the springs in the stack. Won't last forever but whatever, it's easy to stuff a new piece in once a year or so. Definitely a longer lasting and more reliable solution than some form of a lubricant.

This is the stuff you really want to use: CorriosonX Heavy Duty
Do it once, and you'll probably never need to do it again on a golf cart unless you're near saltwater. I would use this on my Class A leafs (springs.) That motorhome would go from a filling shaker to a nice smooth ride. Amazing stuff. |

Just FWIW, I used Teflon spray on my bushings and springs. It doesn't seem to leave a residue like WD-40 or grease that will attract dirt. Also be careful about using any petroleum based product on any application that's real rubber. It's like the "old timer's" advice to use Vaseline on O-rings; unless you like replacing O-rings, of course!

I take a squirk can filled with 80-90 wt gear oil and spray suspected areas. Works for me and the squeak stays gone a long time.
