Default 2015 Club Car limited slip?

So done some searching but seems to be conflicting answers. I'm looking at picking up my first cart (refurbished 2015 Club Car Precedent).

It will be used to haul the myself, Wife, Mastiff, Wife's Scuba gear to the beach on our lake. It will need a limited slip to make it through the soft powder sand at the least.

All I've found available is a whole axle from Axles Inc. Is there not a Phantom Grip type device like I've seen for the EZGO's?

I sent emails to Jake's Lifts, Buggies Unlimited, and can't call Plowman's (no email) due to working nights/sleeping days. However, have received no response from the first two.

Any help finding a solution appreciated.

Oh, sorry... it is an electric cart, and I'm respectfully, utterly disinterested in having the discussion of whether there is a need for a limited slip.

There are a couple of threads that you may already have seen:

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...-you-have.html

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ferential.html

One of them (from 2007) says "Club Car has developed two additional technologies, IntelliLock and IQ Torque, for its XRT800 and XRT810 electric utility vehicles"

I don't know anything about them but it seems they were very expensive.

Good luck with your search.

Did see those, thx. I just can't believe no one makes a simple mechanical locker for these cars.

Probably isn't any market for it.

King of Carts used to sell one, but it was expensive. About the time I was willing to bite the bullet it was not being sold anymore...

They failed miserably. Would not take the axle torque on asphalt.

Unless one of the companies replies with good news, I may have to dump Club Car for another make then. Which sux because I really like the family owned and operated business who I was going to get the refurbished cart from. However they only have Club Cars right now.

Why not just put a Kawasaki axle under it and buy the limited slip for it?
