Default Quick question on the alltrax

Is this where I need to connect the laptop to download the field map

No, the use a cable to connect from laptop straight into controller. That plug in your hand is what plugged into the original Curtis controller

Printer end plugs into the Alltrax next to the light (the green one that flashes throttle code etc) and the usb end into the laptop.

Do you guys leave this cord plugged in and hanging out Incase you want to tweak things. I don’t se any reason to take it off of there.

I take all mine off, but they are easily accessible. Nothing wrong if you want to place it in a secure location for access.
