Default Checking oil in Kawasaki rear end

I see the drain plug for the rearend, but do not see a 'check level/add' plug. What am I missing in order to check/add oil?

Reach your hand around the front side, if I remember correctly, it is there.

I thought I could see all of the front side. It would not be on the TOP, would it ..... above where the motor connects?

That looks too low. It will not be under the level of the axle tube - it will be parallel or near the same level. But the angle of the pic could be fooling me too...

I think it's just the angle of the picture. Compared to the bolts on the axle tube flange in the picture that NCPW posted it looks to be around the same height.
