If its a clubcar precedent cart and it has the excel system in. A grey color controller and a throttle sensor. Then that is how it works.

You haven't told us what the serial number is. It will be under the dash on the passenger side. If it starts with a PH then it is an Excel cart and won't take a magnet. If it has a different pair of letters then you can add a speed magnet which reduces the regen (the braking you're talking about).
If it is a PH then you could change the motor to a PlumQuick or change the controller to an Alltrax XCT then you will get greater speed and can program out the regen. If you were less abrupt and answered the questions that were put to you then you'd probably get more people responding. |

Take it to a club car dealer and have them set the "Pedal Up Mode" to 0.

My Dealer changed mine to 0 at no charge to me. It fixed the problem
