Re: Help first golf cart 1997 club car ds
If it has not been 16 hours let it go. If it goes beyond 16 hours then unplug it and wait 12 hours and check the pack voltage.
Your OBC will have failed if it never turned off and exceeded 16 hours. (I would give it an extra hour or so...) |

Re: Help first golf cart 1997 club car ds
It has only been 10 hours, but it looks more like the batteries since at 5 amps the OBC is still in control.
Set your voltmeter to 20vDC scale and measure the voltage in each individual battery. |

While still charging, the idea is to determine if all batteries are rising in voltage at the same pace.

LOL ..... NOT laughing at YOU, but rather because you sound just like ME, a month ago. Yeah, I kept cutting the charger off too, for the fear of boiling them over. You will be OK, just listen to those here that know!

Re: Help first golf cart 1997 club car ds
Yes, measure each battery voltage individually to determine if all batteries failed or just a single one caused the pack demise.
If you voltmeter is not auto-range, set it to 20vDC so you will get two decimal places on the reading. |
