Thanks guys. Just wish I'd jumped in sooner and helped save this guy some trouble. Hopefully he hasn't already ordered a motor because it's definitely not going to work correctly with that 1520 controller. It's setup for the OEM motor, and the OEM motor ONLY.
Noonan, if you really want an aftermarket torque motor, it can be done, but you've gotta change the controller as well to something that can be mapped for it. I'd think long and hard about it though. The OEM motor in your cart is a beast. The retail price on that bad boy is $1125.74 from Club Car. |
