Need to stiffen rear suspension
I have a 1997 Columbia Par Car
i want to beef up my rear suspension so as not to sag when having more than 1 person in cart. am i better off changing shock or springs? |

Change the springs to dual action or HD ones and it'll prevent the rear end sag but at the cost of a stiffer ride when you're riding solo. The dual action are more forgiving from what I've heard. I have the HD and that don't seem to bother me.
The shocks are just dampeners. |

Like NCPW stated, the shocks on carts are more so dampeners and will not help your dilemma at all. Dual Action or HD is the way to go to meet your needs....

Tried the medium duty and they were doody. Installed an HD set last weekend. Took the shocks off. One of them was toast and with the lift they don't do much for you.
