Default Club car Ds pedal promblem

Recently bought a 2004 club car Ds electric, When you push the pedal it clicks about half way down pretty close to the floor,It will go I know the pedal shouldnt be that far down before it goes, I was told could be a throttle rod just curious where to start to check it, Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, that does sound like a worn linkage assembly. If you jack it up and lay under it you will see the linkages and where they do into your MCOR. There are several ways to tighten it up but the first thing is to check it and verify what the problem is.
