DS beach cart
I took the rear end out of the old DS cart I have at the beach house. I got the whole rear end out pretty easy then it all went to Heck. The motor was lock down to the input shaft.
I took it up to a local shop and we applied heat to it but it didn't faze it. Went to Ocean lakes golf cart shop and for $37.00 they had it off in less than 10 minutes! Now I can take it back home and clean it up paint it and do the brakes and change the fluid and put it under the Woodie for 72 volts again! It is on 48 now and only running 11MPH! That ant going to cut it. |

Re: DS beach cart
This rear end is going in the Woodie so I can run the 72 volt high speed motor PQ built for the old dragster cart.
I'll be running 72 volts in the Woodie. |

Re: DS beach cart
Do you think woodie will hold up to wheelies?
Hate to see the motor blow the cart apart! |

Re: DS beach cart
I've already had it in the cart one time with the high speed rear end and motor and it so heavy no it want do wheelie's. But I couldn't turn the thing because the spider gears in it where weld together to make it a posi trac unit. It ran about 40MPH though so with a stock rear end with my high speed motor I'm hoping for around 30MPH.
