My earlier post should have said netted 2”, not needed. Sorry for that.

What do you mean a spacer? Could you share some pics?

I got the idea from a you tube video- home made lift.

If you pulled the car down when you tightened up the shocks, you need shock extensions. Stock shocks are just barely long enough for a car in stock form, if you've raised the height at all you're gonna need shock extensions. It used to drive me insane putting on heavy duty springs and tightening up the shocks and watching it make the car squat, but that's the way the factory does it so that's the way we did it at the dealer when I worked there. Now I try and position the shock at about mid range of it's travel up vs down while the car is sitting on it's own weight.

Thanks Tahoe Dawg,

If I was to go the route you suggested, I probably would need 3" extensions. I had to pull the shocks down into the mount hole (barley made it) and when it was fully extended I had to put pressure on the cart in order to get enough thread showing to get the nut on.

You sell them on your site?

The shackles I made are 8" long center to center on the bolt holes.

No I don't sell extended shackles. I usually get them from Autozone in the rare instance that I would need them. Nowadays I don't see many DS cars in my shop and all the Precedent lift kits we put on are designed to reposition the shock tab higher so there's no longer a need for extensions on the shocks.
