Default Power Drive 3 48v Club Car changer

Charger does not click when plugged into Cart. Neighbors charger works fine so my batteries are good.

Charger worked great yesterday, doing nothing today.

First thing I would check for is a broken wire in the DC Plug. Ohm from end to end.

Leave the AC cord UNplugged, Remove the cover on the charger, plug the DC cord into the card.

Check for Pack voltage reaching the relay on the White wire at the relay. You should have pack voltage. (48+) Check for voltage on the Blue wire at the relay. You should have very little or no voltage on the Blue wire.

Check for continuity on the Blue wire at the relay to Pack Negative. This is the sense wire that runs to the OBC and is grounded to turn the relay on. You should have continuity to Pack negative here.

If you have both of those the relay has failed. You can test the relay separately with jumpers to the coil pins by providing 48v and ground. You can also force the charger ON by jumping the two black wires on the relay together. This bypasses OBC control and the charger will not turn off on it's own.
