Default Bolts falling from lift kit

My 2005 Precedent was rebuilt by a local shop. When they installed the lift kit they either didn’t used loc tite or simply didn’t properly tighten the bolts that hold the lift kit to the frame. One fell out.

What is the proper size of these bolts? And should there be two or four?

Brother 'Nole, it is hard to tell from the pics, and different lifts use different bolts. Some are metric and some are SAE. The best way is to remove one just like the one missing (maybe from the other side) and measure it. If you are unable to measure it, just take it ti any local hardware store and you can match the length and thread count.

Self-Locking nuts are great in those applications.

Pretty sure there's supposed to be 4 there. Also not sure why there's no tie plate under the spring? The spring should be held on by more than just one bolt in the middle.

Is this an A-arm lift? That may not need the tie plate since the spring is not an actual structural part of the suspension on those.
But you still need 4 bolts holding the mount plate to the frame.
I would also wonder what else they jury rigged or forgot to do.
Are all the lug nuts tight?

If the installer failed to use loctite when installing those bolts, they can and will vibrate out if not torqued properly. That’s my thoughts.
