Default Is this OBC still useful?

OK removed a working OBC from my 2012 Precedent however following one of the post, I cut the black wire on the back of the OBC real close. Also cut the white and blue wire on the wrong side of the harness however they can be spliced. Is the OBC now useless with the black wire cut so close? I dont see a way to splice a wire to the short black one.

You would need to gently strip the insulation back and using the old or another same gauge wire, solder that back on at the butt and then place a piece of heat shrink tubing over it. That is the wire that runs back up to your charge receptacle.
