Default Re: Difference in carts?

I think I am going in circles..

Battery pack is good, voltage to solenoid is good and solenoid "clicks" when pedal is depressed... When put in reverse, buzzer sounds..

zero reading on resistance to large terminals on solenoid before and after clicking. full voltage to small terminals on solenoid.

Ok, so, I have another cart that ran last year,* I will just swap solenoids and see what happens. * Now, zero click, no juice to small terminals and no reverse buzzer...except when I accidentally crossed/jumped the two big terminals on solenoid for a brief second..buzzer came on for about 2-3 seconds and faded out. Still no click on solenoid.

Swap solenoids again to orginal...no click, no buzzer, no power to small terminals.

I swapped out the tow/run switch as well as the f/r switch to see if it was them..but zero difference...I think I have confused myself.

For that one to work you would need the resistor off/removed.

You can leave it as is and test the voltage. When open you should get .5v to 1.5v between the large posts. Then when it clicks (closes) you should have 0v between the large posts.
