Default Voltage Reducer and Fuse Block Location

I recently sold my DS and picked up a 2016 Precedent that I'm still getting used to. I ordered a voltage reducer and Blue Sea fuse block to install and was curious where you were putting them? I'm used to how open the DS was and the Precedent is a bit more confined under the seat. I'm thinking of putting it behind the battery box by the controller. Pics are welcomed

Can you post a link to that old post? I'm doing the same thing and cant decide where to mount the blue sea fuse block. I did just find one mounted on the plastic above the steering column which could work great since I have a triple glovebox anyway.

I mounted mine inside the steering column shroud. It's good because it is out of sight but bad because I have to pull the dash out if I ever need to change a fuse.

I can't find the post I was referencing before, I went through a bunch. It seems like most people mount the reducer and fuse block either in the battery box or the dash. I saw some posts where people mount the reducer under the front end where the factory unit goes, I think I may do that as well. The majority of fuse blocks I saw in battery boxes were on the 4 x 12v Precedents vs the 6 x 8v which seem to have less free space. I'm still going back and forth on where to mount the block on mine.

I had a 4/ 12v precedent and had a bunch of room under the seat. With this 6/8volt I have decided to mount the panel on the side of the steering column "shroud" facing the passenger side. I have a glove box that will hide it and believe for the most park I can access it to check fuses but it will be tight.

This is mine inside the shroud before I put it back on the cart. You can also see my USB ports that sit above the steering column.

Nice. I see what you're saying now. I mounted mine on the outside of that panel and drilled a hole to run the wires inside it so all wires are hidden but still have access to fuses. I have a 3 compartment glove box so you don't see the fuse panel. It worked out great. Finished it last night.
