Re: Precedent wont go...need help please
Obc could be locked out...Unplug the obc connector..On the harness side of the connector using a piece of wire jump the blue and white wires and see if the cart will run..You can leave the connector unplugged for this test..This will bypass the obc lockout...

Installed jumper. Still nothing. Jumper wire showed 50v.

Drawing a blank. Seems like the controller is getting everything.
Do you have 48v at the solenoid small terminals? What modifications did you make to the wire harness for the different controller? I know David wouldn’t steer you wrong, just wondering if there’s possibly a bad connection in any of the changes you made. |

Re: Precedent wont go...need help please
50v at small solenoid terminals
I installed 3 1/2 watt, 470 resistors on the 3 wire mcor plug, and on the controller harness...cut the black/white wire from the 13 pin and connected it to the purple wire. When i turn the key on, nothing happens...then i switch it to run and the battery gauge lights up. Other than that, nothing...no solenoid click. Stepping on pedal...i hear the microswitch but nothing happens. Theres never a reverse buzzer or any other indication on the cart of any kind. |

I can take out the resistors if it wouldnt hurt the mcor to test the cart. Theyre on a jumper cable.

I would give Dave a call before you do any of that...He'll make sure you did everything right...

Re: Precedent wont go...need help please
Well im not sure exactly what the issue is/was but i picked up a 1510 controller and undid the iq-excel modification that was suggested to me and it runs now. The 1515 controller still works in the Excel cart. If any one has done that swap, can someone confirm whether it is the black/white 13 pin or the blue/white 14 pin that is connected to the 3 pin purple? The instructions said black/white 13, but the picture has an arrow to the blue/white 12. Thanks!
