Impalass88,
Is the one you have already programmed for a specific battery? If so which one? I have not yet purchased my batteries, but am leaning towards trojan 875's |

Hey impalass88,
Cart is looking pretty sweet!! Have all the items I need to do my 36v to 48v upgrade with exception to the bat's. Can't wait to spend that ~$800 I will most likely start pulling the cart apart this weekend to begin the upgrade. I want to have the upgrade finished by end of spring. |

It is programmed at the current time for Trojan T-105's (T-875 would be fine with this algorithm). I have a contact at Delta-Q who I have been dealing with and I also have the programmer to change the algorithm's (bought this seperate) so I can change the algorithm if necessary. I am running Crown CR-190 (190 amp hour rating) 8 volt batteries and am using the T-105 algorithm as prescribe by my contact. It works perfect. I highly recommend you consider the Crown batteries. They have become the top battery manufacturer taking the top spot from Trojan. I have spoke to many battery dealers and distributors and Trojan has fallen off in quality. they are no longer the preferred battery. Club Car used to put all Trojan's in their carts until they had issues with them. They have switched to all Crown batteries. Club Car also has a lawsuit against Trojan for problems caused by their batteries. It's your choice but the best for your money is Crown. |

Yep. Here are some pic's of what it looks like now. I have a few more mod's like a digital volt meter, stereo, new steering wheel, and some chrome flooring and side rails. Also want to pretty up the under-carriage while the body is off and looking into having a large eagle with his wings running the length of the cart painted. Pretty happy with the looks. Now it's time for the operation piece.

What wire diagram did you use to wire the 48v charging plug with? That is the only area that I'm still struggling with. UHGGG, I just realized that I have not purchased the 48v plug and charger.. Did you run your cart on 36v with all the 48v solenoid and F/R switch? I'm assuming I can install all the new components and just program the controller for 36v until I switch to 48v.. ?? |
