2000 robins 295cc
2000 ez go workhorse, 295cc
I'm having an issue of only one side of the coil firing. I've read a lot so far on the site and can't figure it out yet, any help would greatly be appreciated |

Re: 2000 robins 295cc
If I switch the leads it fires on each plug, the short plug wire is not firing only the long one. Is the rear coil wire hot like the front one? Does the igniter have anything to do with it?

The igniter can have an effect on the firing but they both fire at the same time... I would lean toward the coil itself but I suspect more the plug wires.. pull the boots and make sure the leads are in good shape inside the boot and you can look at the taps on the end where they disconnect from the coil and see if they are clean and in good shape. You can trim the ends and re-install them to ensure a good connection...
