Default steering wheel stuck

can't get the steering wheel off to replace the bushing. I had the front axle replaced and after we got it back from the shop the steering wheel won't budge. Any ideas?

It won’t come off or won’t turn?

Loosen the nut so the nut is flush with the end of the threads. Take a hammer and hit the nut while pulling up on the steering wheel. Spray some wd40 first. Just be sure the nut is not below the threads so you dont damage the shaft. Usuallly comes off in about 3 to 4 good licks with a hammer.

I like pb blaster but each his own. Like said loosen the nut until flush with the end of the shaft, plant your feet on either side of the column and pull upward on the wheel rocking it from side to side. If needed have someone tap on the nut while you are pulling.

Excellent!! The other reason for the retaining nut is to keep you from hitting yourself in the face when the wheel lets go..
