Lithium upgrade club car 2012 lights quit working
I have a 2012 club car precedent 48v (8vx6 configuration).
I installed the Bigbattery lithium to replace the lead acid. When I turned on the lights nothing worked. After troubleshooting I think the existing dc voltage reducer is only 16v to 12v so I installed a 48v to 12v reducer. Lights still don’t work and turn signals are very dim and slow. I’m assuming I blew out my led lights and need to replace as I can’t find a fuse, but do I need to remove the existing 16v to 12v reducer? If I’m feeding 12v into it will it reduce it further? I don’t want to fry my controller as everything else works as it should Can I jus unplug the 16v reducer and the all will be well? Thanks |
