![]() I need to find an engine mounting plate that I can use to install a 1996 ke290 engine in my 1991 club cart. the 1991 engine plate will not work with the ke290 engine. I was just wondering if anyone has one laying around that would like to part with it, well I need one. I found some of the parts I need but this is a major part we are having a problem locating. I dont really have the tools to fabricate this piece so I prefer to find one already made.
by the way check out my new ride! |

![]() I know I don't know that much about the mechanical parts of a golf cart, but I do know my boyfriend put a engine from a 94 CC into a 85 CC with no real problems.. I think this would be equivalent to what you are trying to do??? Maybe someone else can chime in here..

![]() hey....can you ask him how he installed the engine on the original mounting plate. when I set my engine in, first of all the holes on the engine do not match the holes on the engine plate. then, if I drill new holes I still would not be able to go far enough to get the clutch to line up with the driven clutch. By the way I dont know too much about all these things, so I am learning as I go thanks to some good info I have acquired from the smart guys in this forum.
