![]() Im working on my 25hp kohler in my yamaha g1 and wondering what the center hole to center hole of the engine / drive clutch to center hole of shaft on driven clutch would be and what size belt that would take? There should be a way to measure distance away and fingure the correct size belt.

![]() I think that goes out the window when you start using non stock clutches ??? but there is a way to measure what size belt will fit at a given location as long as you have both clutches on..... that way you can mount where a stock size belt from something will fit without having to go to an expensive snowmobile belt.
Use a cloth tape ( or a string and measure it after you mark it ) put the tape around the center shaft on the drive clutch and around the outer edge of the driven clutch pulley, this measurement plus 2 inches works for ordering a belt or comparing to what is available... If you do not have a list of what is available, post that measurement here... and somebody will help... Slotted engine mount holes are recommended ![]() |
