Yamaha G16 driven clutch question

my apologies on the G2 G9 confusion my bad. was just curious on the belt?

Wasn't being a G-nazi, just sharing info too. But, if you want to know, all G2s had white steering wheels/columns, all G9s had black steering wheels/columns. Other minor trim differences around glovebox area (G9 had rubber trim instead of aluminum). Pretty much identical otherwise tho. I love your cart pic, looks like you use it like i use mine (EVERYWHERE).

its all good i know better ie white/black column and steering wheel because of you guys and this site guess i was just slacking lol every time i look at your pic i think of my 92 F150 lol not sure what year yours in the pic is but mine was green also. i wish i lived as close to work as you do cause i would definetly ride the cart to work if i could

Thanx for the Umax part number.I figure once I start on my stage 3 build I will need the heavier spring.I could not find the exact spring without that number.

Does anyone happen to have the Yamaha p/n for the factory sliding sheave, fixed sheave and ramp shoes used on the driven clutch? I plan on purchasing these parts along withe UMAX spring to do my driven clutch repair. Thanks for any info.

You should also get the spacer to eliminate the snap-ring (not made by yamaha)

Just curious as to why the snap ring should be reused? I see that it's common to discard it and use a spacer but have never understood the reason. Thanks for all of your help.

The groove the ring rides in gets worn out, allowing the snap ring to slide back & tear up the input shaft seal. Will happen even faster with heavier spring.

sliding sheave P# JN6-G6270-02-KT. Spacer P# J55-46322-09-00 (cgtech, Yamaha originated the spacer and it's higher quality then aftermarket, meaning the "teeth" fit better on the input shaft splines and don't slide all the way to the seal).
