81 g1 gas yam
Hello everyone, i need a little help on the starter, gen, tensioner , can someone please post a pick of one? I had to many people that was working on the starter, i think its not the way it should be? The tensioner, thanks

Did a quick google search, here's what I found. Hope this helps.
Edited: refer to next post After a little digging, it appears that the 1979-1981 models used the spring tensioner, which are not available any longer. The newer version is a bracket, which likely works much better. |

Those bolts are avail from Yamaha. Size of the bolts are definitely metric. You could prob make a good guess at the size, get some bolts, take them back and switch them out if they aren't the right thread pitch. Or buy an assortment like I did and you'll have some extras. You never know when you'll need an extra bolt or two.
