Default Damaged Yamaha Cart Chassis/Frame help

Recently my golf cart has hit a rock and the frame has bent and now it cant steer. I was looking for where to find a new frame but I cant find any trusted place. Does anyone know a place, preferebly a website, where they sell Yamaha frames.

Thank you for reading!

Bent frame? Can't steer?

I'm thinking you'll need a whole cart. Are you sure it's not just a bent a arm?

I agree,Pics would help,it may not be as bad as it looks, unless you drilled it dead-center and pushed the whole front section upwards.

What year? What model? It's gonna have to be severe frame damage before I would consider not fixing it. Any pics?

If you can find an automotive shop that straighten's frames, it can be "pulled" back, but you must take off the front cowel/dash/mats ext. They may need to use heat. BUT, ask for a price first. Went from 175.00 to 300.00 the LAST time I worked with them. Is the person driving in that crash OK? Good luck

Thanks. I will find someone to straighten it, hope it doesn't cost a lot. The driver is ok but he was lucky it wasn't a dry impact against a wall and only hit a rock that ended making the cart jump a little. The cart was rolling afterwards but it was not turning a lot. Great fun it was to drift it around places so with luck it can get back to shape.

I use a large steel i-beam that supports a roof chained to one end of cart, forklift chained to other end. Then gently "yank" using weight of forklift to do the work. I have straightened some messed up carts.

Good luck with the repair. It should be fixable easy enough. Once you get it close you can adjust some of it out.

I've straightened a few of them.Remove the front body for access.Chain the rear of the cart to prevent it from moving, hook to the front,on the damaged side.Heat the tube, and pull it with a come-along,or Porta-Power.The tubing is pretty thin,so it will go pretty easy.Hope this helps.
