Default New guy here! Well maybe?

Just got a camp spot where everyone has a cart, so I need one too! Me being a cheap *** and likes older square body things I've been looking for older EZGo and G1/G2 carts. For some odd reason every cart is dipped in gold in this area and a 1990 EZGo 2 stroke stock with bald tires and ripped seats is asking around 1500.00. Best thing I've found so far is a G1 for 700 but is rough. Moves in reverse good, slow to warm up in forward. Body needs some slight repair, no roof of course and back seat...which I'll need. So I guess I'm wondering I
If the 700 is fair? What did everyone else pay for theirs? Here is the best pics I got of it. Windshield is held on with liquid nail(a lot of it). My plans would be bench seats, EZGo roof and windshield, lift kit for now. Then engine swap over winter time

And yes....previous owner named it Hoopty ___ Loopty. Fill in the blanks cause she had kids. I've seen it around the campground last year and it's a runner.

Where are you from? From what I've seen Golf Cart prices vary considerably depending on your location. An older G1 like that around me would probably get between $400-$500. I could get a decent golf cart a little newer (1995-2000) for around $1000-$1500.

Morgantown WV. I think the high prices is due to the campground with over 4500 campsites kinda drives up the cost. But even looking on EBay all I can find is non runners that are up to over 1000.00 in price. Heck I was even bidding on a non running EZGo that had the front body section smashed in. I was at 400 bucks and the reserve hadn't been met.

Wow. I'm picking up a non running gas Yamaha G16 tomorrow for $300.

Here's a 2000 ezgo gasser for $1000. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/for/5023990212.html

This one is a G1 for $800 I know cause I texted him about it. This one is in pretty good shape. http://southjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/5001896173.html

I believe the G1 is a 2 stroke. The G8 and up are 4 stroke.

Morgantown huh? Spent a lot of time up there for a few years. You're right, golf cart prices are through the roof in that area, I used to look for cheap ones to fix while I was up there and it never happened.
