98 ds Starter Generator Issue
I had the wire from my solenoid to the stater break on the starter. It seems it was arcing. I have since replaced the wire but it will not start. Have juice at the stater, battery have a full charge and I can spin it by hand. Should I just replace the starter or is there something else I missed.

Re: 98 ds Starter Generator Issue
I would think something inside the starter was fried. I had that happen to an electric cart and the electric motor was burned up at the terminal inside the motor. The s/g would be similar I think.
