Western IL, New Boston. Temps are in the 40s to 60s . I have 13 acres but usually trips aren't enough to get it "hot". Thing is, my other two Club Car carts don't contaminate the oil like this one.

I agree. I am a sparky guy but this is usually the case with auto engines.
Inspect all possible water connection surfaces for damage.
Hopefully it's a head gasket and not the block.
Have you or know the history if it has been run hot?
Head warpage can occur and water passage can fail pushing water into the block creating chocolate milk.

The Subaru engine is air cooled.

Many years ago I had a 4x4 Cheby S-10. I took it places.....lots of places where I would drive thru 12"-20" of standing water. I was having wheel bearing issues and when I took it to get fixed, they drained the rear punkin and my oil was the "light chocolate milk" variety.

It seems the vent tube that was on it by the factory only came "up" about 4" from the rear end. So, when the nice warm rear end hit the cold Nov-Dec puddles, the air inside would contract and water would get sucked thru the vent tube.

Answer to problem......longer vent tube....or in my case, an upgrade to a Silverado 4x4!!

Do your other 2 carts do the same trips in the same weather as your new one?

Yes, they're all pretty short trips. Once I use a cart, I try to use the same one for the rest of the day so it can at least warm up a little bit.

I might have an answer. I called M and M Golf Carts in Bettendorf. He asked if the spark plug I am using has a "6" in the number. It does. He said to change that plug to the "much hotter" NGK BPR4HS plug. The "6" does have a lot of carbon on it. Stay tuned! And thanks for your responses!

M & M knows less than you do! How do you figure a spark plug will affect the oil?
