Default Club car hose on bottom of carb

I been having issues with a lot of white smoke and not continuing to run. I took the carb off and cleaned it up. When putting back in notices a nipple on the bottom. Nothing was connected to this. I believe something should be connected. If so where does it connect to?

Also just noticed. I have a line for fuel in. And one that goes by the air intake. But no other hose. There should be another on the top left. I am missing that. Where would that run to?

If the nipple that your speaking of is on the bottom of the bowl and has a screw on the side of it,
it's just the bowl drain, and nothing gets hooked to it!

Sorry I must of overlooked this by speed reading!

There are 4 connections to the carb...
Air intake hose
Fuel line from the pump
Crankcase/valve cover vent
and a bowl overflow drain line

and I'll take a guess that your missing the bowl overflow drain line,
(it's pretty common for those to rot and just fall off)
that line connects to the carb, and is supposed to go through a hole in the front frame rail, and is tied off there with the other end open,
so in the event that your float sticks, fuel will spill far enough away from your engine to avoid a fire.

In this pic, you can see the yellow line going to the front frame rail...
(click the pic 3 times to REALLY expand it)

Thank you.

I would think the overflow would not cause any smoke from exhaust and poor running. Must have something else wrong.

The cart would hardly run. I took the carb off and looked like everting was good. Cleaned it up.

Still get smoke and poor running, but runs better.

Make sure that you have your intake tube from the air box connected to your carb when running it,
Kawasaki engines are finicky with the air/fuel mixture, and run rough when it's not connected.
It might not be the cause of your smoking issue though! (depending on what kind of smoke it is)

Inspect your spark plug and see what kind of stories it has to tell. Spark plugs dont lie :)

I took the carb back apart. Nothing jumps out at me being a problem. Hit it with some carb cleaner.

Some little pieces of black came out where the needle goes.

I can get a aftermarket carb for like $25. Are those decent? Or should I get an official one?

The cheap carbs only last for about a year, I'd spend the extra cash and go with OEM!
BUT... before going down that road, and since you've gotten MORE gunk out of the carb, it might be due for a better cleaning!

Thanks. I will do more cleaning. Put it back on and see where I am. I went from running for 10 yards and stalling out and smoking. To going 40 yards and smoking and running ruff. Maybe I am slowly getting closed with the cleaning.
