Default Carryall Question

I just traded for a 1993 Clubcar Carryall II Plus with a full cab. My question is this thing has the regular S/G, but it also has a belt driven alternator. The alternator appears to be a add on, and the wiring is a mess. There is a second relay in the box that goes to the add on alternator and the wires all all unhooked I can not seem to find a wiring diagram for this option if anyone has any feedback it is appreciated

Default Re: Carryall Question

Welcome to BGW LI!

I've only seen one other Carryall with an add on alternator on the forum, but I can't find the thread now, it was a few years ago...
If I remember correctly, the alternator is a factory option that supports an electric heater in the cab.

I have diagrams for the key start relay, and CA II+, CA IV, and CA VI... but, no diagrams for the alternator option, or relay.

You could try emailing David @ Revolution Golf Cars, He might be able to dig something up for you.

Default Re: Carryall Question

Main reason for that would be if there was alot of equipment installed on the cart that needed extra power. If all of that was removed, then you can remove the alternator and associated wiring. Most add-on alternators are very simple to hook up, and just as simple to remove.
