F/N/R knob frozen on DS
Hey gang I'm in the middle of some paint and body work. I'm trying to get the rear body off but the FNR knob will not budge. Took the screw out of the center and shot what I could reach of the shaft and PB Blasted it... even tried prying/tapping gently with hammer but it's stuck. Was almost thinking bout taking the whole shaft out of the shifter (circlip for switch cam spring etc) but don't know if that'll help either Any tricks?

Comes a point where it's more cost / time effective to carefully cut it off and buy a replacement plastic handle - they're fairly cheap

shaft is d shaped; round with a flat milled into it. new handle is around 5 bucks.
