Re: no start
What have you done to it? Sounds like a new carb...maybe?!? If it pops then there is a good chance of spark. Fill us in so we can help!!

Re: no start
hey you guys are great!! thanks for the fast responds. after i posted this i started reading your forums came across a compression test, so i ran outside and took a compression test, only 42 lbs!!! pulled engine last night, took apart today. i have a broken oil ring, bad scape mark on piston, and scratches in the cylinder. ordered new parts so will put together when they arrive and let you know how it goes. again i would not have thought of the compression test if not for your forums( which all were very interesting). so thanks again for the responds and ill keep you updated once i get it back together.

Re: no start
Welcome need anymore info let us know. Be sure to install the new piston in the correct position ports facing the carb side and be sure to install new crank seals while you have it out. Just a heads up!

Re: no start
Fire Cart -good job. I am still interested in what cart you have?
and will be interested if anyone admits to knowing anythings about clutchs. What specifically is it doing? My 99 engages pretty harsh. Have some ideas, but unable to get any real guitdance so far. Cheers lefty2 |
