86 ez go clutch problem

I was given a project to fix a 1986 EZ GO cart. The problem is that is takes off on the flat ground just fine but if you are cruzin on the flat and come to a incline the cart will come to a stop and then start going again. I know that belt is bad but should I be looking at the clutch too?? Are the clutches on these machines serviceable?? Last where can I find cheap parts for this machine??
