Thanks Rusty, this is my first Golf Cart adventure. I'm a Pontiac-a-holic by nature but lived in MN for 10 years and got into the 2 cycle stuff there pretty heavy. My G1 is simple to work on because of it.

Is your offer of the service manual for $5.00 still good? I sure could use one. Thanks

I also have the G2/G9 service manual. I know a lot of folks think I will keep the money and not send a manual but e-bay is for those folks. I just ask expense and mail is included. I scrimped on packaging and actually made 75 cents on one. I must have sent out around 50 of these cd's.

Tew45,
You are the man, thank you so much for my manual .I am glad some people just want to keep things "alive" and not have them go to the scrap yard .We live in a disposable society and some day it is going to catch up with us.Remember when the TV repair man used to come to your house and repair your TV ? This was the neatest thing when I was growing up . And to boot ,he smoked a pipe and made the house smell so good. Just one of my childhood memories that might be silly, but I will never forget it.

I have always had to buy wrecks and junk and rebuild just to have toys so I help others that do not have the cash to buy new toys to do the same.

tew45,

Does the service manual include the 1979 G1? I know there are suspension differences from the early to late '80s G1....not sure what other differences there are, if any.
