Default G16 idle mixture adjuster

Is there a trick I am not seeing on how to adjust the idlke mix adjuster without removing the air box each time? I am trying to fine tune my slight hesitation, but I have to keep taking the air box on and off...Any one got any helpful tricks?

Not really, airbox is in the way. Usually a hesitation is actually caused by the little "jet looking thing" that points straight down. Its right next to the throttle shaft. Clean from the bottom hole 'till cleaner comes out all 3 side holes, nothing will come out top hole.

"the jet looking thing"...Are you referring to the pilot jet? if so, I got brand new jets from plowman. put the mixture screw out 1 3/4 turns as told. Runs great...but just the slightest hestitation when mashing the throttle. was gonna try a few things before bugging Don. Thanks for verifying that the air box had to be removed each time...
