I may be displaying my ignorance...but can't you just purchase ANY ignition switch and connect the wires?

I have used two simple ignition switches that I found at Tractor Supply to create a remote start system for a generator. They are basic switches that can be used for many applications. Good Luck.

Unfortunitly, some web sites like this list the factory part number and price, but are not available. There maybe hope though, it all depends how many wire's come out of the key switch (sorry I can't remember), may be able to use a G2/G9 ignition switch, but it would be a common key. What happened to your's?

my switch will only work if you hold the run position with pressure. if you release the pressure the vehicle quits. I was going to try just a generic switch but this is wired different

You could disassemble the switch and figure out why its not working + clean all contacts. That is what i have had to do to sun classic switches that are not available any more. I have also done this to re-key it to the common key, the unique keys are near impossible to get, and i'm all out of sun classic key blanks.

I might have some NOS blank key's if you need them. But I would need the part #.
