Big g16
I'm building a custom lift for my g16 and it's going to be like a 16 inch lift to clear the tires. My friend sold them to me off his rzr there 27/11/12 for the rear and 27/9/12 for the fronts my only concerns would be the tire to body clearance Evan with a big lift to clear the tires the swing arm would come more towards the center of the cart. Also with suck a steep angel the engine oil would run to the back of the block any input on this would be great .

Re: Big g16
So, your doing a block lift? I just built a 7 1/2" block lift for my G16, that barely cleared 25x12x10's. I'll tell ya, this puts the cart WAY up in the air. I wouldn't go any higher or you'd never want the cart on any kind of angle. The main problem you will run into is steering links. You'd need to get much longer linkage arms and you'd need to block them so they are at the proper angle, so steering doesn't bind. I'm battling that one now.
And, yes, you'd have to drop the engine cradle by about 4 inches. Your running a stock engine? If so, that'll be rough to turn big tires like that. |
