It really looks good and I want it in my TXT. Is there any way to jerry rig this to work with a TXT? Maybe splice wires and reconnect somehow. Is it measuring voltage straight from battery or getting data from the controller?

It is a display for the controller and will not work on anything except an RXV.

Just wondering, who determines this is the best one on the market?

Are you just going by your personal experience, or ?

At the time I bought one to evaluate, it was the only aftermarket one I seen available. I evaluated its compatibility with the RXV controllers SOC data I/O port. I cannot use the one I bought myself since my build uses a Lithium pack.

Yep! The SOC portion is a 0-5v signal, not a measure from pack voltage. Zero is dead battery, 5v is full battery. 0-5v from the controllers "mind" of what battery state is. That's why there are only 2 options I know of. This meter, or the factory meter. That's also why it won't work on a TXT, or any other carts. Those two are the only "plug-&-play" options for a RXV that exist as far as I know.

I too have this one and it is the best one i have found. I searched all the different options and liked the button and different options it showed. The multi-color makes it really stand out too.
