Default EZGO TXT - Opinions on Rear End Swap

I have a 2003 EZGO TXT that I purchased as a project. I have upgraded to a 500 amp controller, HD For/Rev Switch and Solenoid and new trojan batteries. It is a lifted cart with 23's. It is a 36 volt unit, but have a ruff n tuff (parts)cart with a larger rear end and 48 volt motor. Both are series motors. Where the Ruff N Tuff was a street unit,I am guessing the gear ratio would give me a little more top end. What are you're thoughts on making the swap? Leaving the unit 36 Volt and running the 48 Volt motor and larger rear end.

The 36V motor will run on higher voltages. Most seem to do fine on 48V although the EZGO PDS likes 42v better than 48v.

I'd leave the 36V rear diff and motor in it and run 48V to it.
