2015 RXV Tire/Wheel size
Hi. Relatively new here and appreciate the shared wisdom. I have a 2015 EZGO RXV that is stock everything including ride height and wheels. I'd like to buy a set of wheels and tires but I don't want to add a lift kit right now. I want to make sure that I don't exceed the optimum tire diameter for my cart to 1) ensure no rubbing and 2) not over tax the stock controller. Doing some searching on the forum, I think I can go up to 20.5" diameter without either issue? I'm considering a 10" wheel with tire size 205-65-10. Right now, the cart is speed limited to 13 mph with 18" tall tires. I'm hoping to find someone local (Dallas area) to program it to up to 20 mph. I really have no interest in going any faster as I don't feel comfortable with teens in the house going faster than 20. Am I good on the 205-65-10 tires (20.5") with no lift and without over taxing the controller or losing too much torque?

 The 205/65-10 tires will probably get you 22mph when you get Freedom mode activated. |

My RXV is stock height and I have 20.5" tires. They are the maximum diameter that will fit without a lift kit. I have a rear seat and no rubbing happens.
My cart has 15" rims, so a little different than the set up you are looking at, but 20.5" tire will be fine. To give you a visual how much clearance there is on a stock RXV with those tires: I have the old Danaher controller and this cart will do 24.5 MPH, but I'm not comfortable at that speed except on long straight roads. |

All you guy's tire recommendations, are you talking with, or without the minor rear bumper trimming at the rear inboard edge of the rear wheel/bumper area? (That I have to do to just about every rxv).
