Unhappy Help! No power going up hill

Hey guys just purchased a 2007 36v ez go for a great deal. I knew when we bought it that it had a issue going up hills or inclines. I had the battery’s tested and found that one battery was no good. So today I replaced the battery hoping that my problem would be fixed but still no luck. The cart runs great on flat ground but as soon as you hit any grade it comes to a crawl and the rear end starts to shutter. Any help would be awesome on what to check next !
Thanks

Test each battery with a volt meter while going up hill. I am sure will find at least one more battery is failing.

Hi, there - new to carts and to this forum but same problem: just purchased a 2001 Club Car, 48 V with 6 x 2 ½ year old Trojan batteries. Each battery tests at 8.4V, pack voltage = 50.2V. Runs fine on flat surfaces, with pack voltage ~40-42V, slight incline causes drop to 35V and steep incline (~15º) causes drop to ~27V and cart comes to a stop.

I'm not at all interested in speed, but have requirement to go up and down my steeply-hilled property regularly. From experienced carters, what are suggested improvements to allow climbing my hill - new batteries? new motor/controller? sell the Club Car on and revert to my old F150? (the whole point of the purchase was to allow going up and down the hill at night - to my workshop - and doing it quietly, with an electric motor). Suggestions and input greatly appreciated. Aloha!

The charger we have is a cheap 5 amp charger wonder if that has anything to do with it also. The previous owner I believe bought it on eBay
