2005 ez go can be pushed in run position
I have a 05 ez go and put new batteries in it. Still wasn’t working so the help from another person said it was the controller due to all the testing with a volt meter. Put a new controller on it and cart started running.
Couple hours later I place it in reverse and the cart jolts and doesn’t do anything. I kept it in run to see if I could move the cart and was able to push it without any issue. Any help would be appreciated. |

So I unplugged the ten pin connector to the controller and it’s back up and running. Why would it need to be reset?

The controller contains a computer and computers get hung up in endless loops occasionally and have to be reset.
Sounds like you have PDS (sepex drive) cart. |
