Installed the new controller today and the cart works great now. Just seems too be very touchy is it possible to map the throttle seems like as soon as I touch the throttle at all it takes off. I haven't hooked it up to my computer yet too see what the alltrax toolkit can do. Very impressed with this controller so far tho, installed it today with new 4 gauge cables and has no problem with hills now.

Find the Throttle Rate slider at the bottom of the controller settings page and reduce the % setting.

You might need to adjust the Throttle speed and torque curves, and you can change the throttle linearity so the first part of the pedal travel isn't as sensitive as the latter part.

I had to tone mine XCT down a lot to be able to take off from a standstill on grass without spinning the tires and adjusted the throttle linearity so controller's output was only 30% when pedal was half way down. Linearity profile attached.

Once you get the laptop connected, you can tweak the setting until it drives like you want it to.

I've been playing with it and tweaking it today made two setups one for normal driving and one that responds and picks up a little faster for fun. This controllers great glad I went with it over buying another stock one need to add a switch now to switch between the two

If got a very early version of the XCT that doesn't have the jack for the FN stuff to plug in, but when Alltrax gets the bugs out of the Bluetooth module so the personalities can be switched by phone. I'll have one that will smoke the tires (or do wheelies depending on traction) and another the won't make a full red solo cup slosh over. (Iced tea of course).

Maharvey, I see that you are replacing a series controller. Does the old one still work and would it be for sale?

The old one may be repairable but it isn't working correctly cart had no power with it could barely get moving on flat ground. I'd say a few MOSFETs are fried.
