Default State of Charge Indicator

I have a 48v shuttle that had the SOC on it when i bought it. The SOC indicator was broken so i bought a new one. But the indicator light is always on. I have the battery positive to the #1 terminal, the key switch to the #4 connector, and the #3 to the negative side of the battery pack. Additionally the gauge was reading fully charged yesterday but the batteries, according to the charger were only at 11%. Any ideas as to the issues?

Let me guess, one of these? They are about as trustworthy as a politician. Best of luck.

Is there a thread on how to wire an indicator gauge?

Most TXTs are "pre wired" for that installation.

His is wired correctly, those just suck. Only 80% accurate on batteries in perfect condition, and has a 6-minute delay (to avoid just going "up & down" while you drive). If the meter is wrong, that 6 minutes will allow you to get as far away as 6 minutes can take you & allow you to walk home (walk home will always take longer than 6 minutes, guaranteed).

Also, Dont do anything to an RXV without learning first (his wasnt an rxv).

Same "curts meter", slightly different packaging.
