Default Cart got wet- now its slow

2008 TXT series, recent 48V conversions. alltra sr48500, sw202 reversing contactor.

brother in law used cart his week and got caught in a rainstorm and drove through a bunch of wet puddles, etc.

Cart became really jerky, and wasn't running right. was jerkign really bad at take off. the reversing contactor and controller were pretty wet. I dried off with compressed air and got the cart to stop jerking, but now it seems slow. has lost about 4 mph

not sure what else to look for. Hooked up laptop to alltrax and everything looked ok.

after a full charge I am showing 51.6v on pack and every battery is 8.6v

Does the throttle go to 100% on the Toolkit monitor page?

What does the monitored battery voltage drop to when running at a top speed?

What is the monitored Motor voltage at top speed?

Does cart push easy? (Dragging brake shoes due to moisture)

What brand batteries?

What is the pack voltage 12 hours after the charger shuts off?

So here is a screen shot Of alltrax monitor while Driving . I think the Voltage looks good. Have 51.9 at the pack after sitting from a full charge.

I am noticing throttle is only 75% even though pedal is fully depressed.

I did replace pedal micro switch Very recently but cart was working perfect until it got wet.

Check the ITS voltage between the Black and White wires while they are connected to the controller.

Should be 10V when the pedal is pushed just far enough to make solenoid click and 6V when pedal is on floor.

-----------
There are two things that often happen when a series cart gets wet.

There is an in-line connector at the end of the gray cable coming out of the pedal box. (Circled on attachment-1) All sorts of screwy things happen when that connector get wet, so people often replace it with individual butt-splices or solder joints and water proof those connection with marine grade (adhesive filled) shrink tubing.

The ITS sensor is filled with potting compound for waterproofing, but the compound shrinks as it ages and hairline cracks form, allowing moisture to get to the electronics inside. (Attachment-2 shows an ITS sensor with a hairline crack and Attachment-3 is the schematic of an ITS sensor)

If you click on the attachments, they go to full screen and click again to get full size.

JohnnieB - thank you again !

Really appreciate the time you took to post Everything.

I clipped of the 4 pin connector as it looked a little corroded on some of the pins. I connected the 4 wires directly using heat shrink fittings and cart is back to normal.
